Important context about vendor independence, practice scores, and content accuracy.

We talk about certification vendors a lot. They have not adopted us.

No one has slipped an answer key under the door, invited us to a secret council, or handed over the scoring hotline. Rude? No. Appropriate? Extremely. The official independence and trademark details are below.

1. Independent and unofficial

Cert Happens is an independent study resource. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, approved by, or endorsed by CompTIA or any other certification vendor unless a page explicitly states otherwise.

2. Trademarks

CompTIA, Security+, Network+, and related marks are trademarks of CompTIA, Inc. ISC2, CISSP, and CC are registered marks of ISC2, Inc. Cisco, CCNA, and related marks belong to Cisco Systems, Inc. and/or its affiliates. Other certification names, product names, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Their use identifies the certifications or technologies discussed.

3. Practice content

Practice questions are original study material designed around publicly available exam objectives and generally accepted technical concepts. They are not copied exam questions and should not be treated as a prediction of the exact questions that will appear on an official exam.

4. Scores and readiness

A Cert Happens percentage is a practice score. It is not an official vendor-scaled score and does not guarantee exam readiness or a passing result. Small randomized domain samples should not be treated as mastery ratings.

5. Accuracy and updates

The site aims to provide accurate and useful material, but technical standards, vendor objectives, terminology, and recommended practices can change. Questions and explanations may contain errors or become outdated. See the About Cert Happens for details about sources, review, testing, and corrections.

6. Report an issue

Use the Report question control on a live test or results review when a question may contain a typo, unclear explanation, incorrect answer, duplicate, or outdated concept.
