1. What is Cert Happens?
Cert Happens is an independent technology learning site for people who want to understand more, propel their career, keep their knowledge current, or find out why everyone in the room is speaking in acronyms.
The site will continue to grow as useful ideas occur to us. Some are already planned. Other ideas are hiding in unexpected places.
2. How the content gets made
AI is present, but not our overlord. Artificial intelligence tools may help organize research, draft, edit, code, compare, test, or notice the suspicious thing sitting quietly in the corner. Useful? Yes. Final authority? No. Skynet remains firmly out of scope. Human review is annoyingly non-optional. The robots have auditors.
Human oversight includes professional experience in information technology and cybersecurity, along with relevant industry certifications. Certification-focused material is developed with reference to current published exam objectives and appropriate official or primary sources. Practice content is also subject to technical and consistency checks, with additional review when source changes, validation results, or user reports raise a concern.
Visitors are part of the process too. Practice-test users can report a question that seems incorrect, unclear, outdated, or unusually determined to cause trouble. A report can trigger another review of the live item.
3. Mistakes happen. Rude, but true.
Humans miss things. AI misses things with impressive posture. Sources change. Technology changes. Occasionally a sentence survives several reviews and still chooses chaos.
Broader corrections and site problems can go through Contact and corrections. If the evidence says something should be corrected, clarified, updated, or retired, we do that. We try not to make it weird.
4. No secret council
Cert Happens is independent. Certification vendors do not write, approve, or score Cert Happens material. There is no secret answer key. We checked.
Certification names and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. The Certification and Trademark Disclaimer handles this in a much more serious voice.
5. And the animals?
No humans, AI systems or, most importantly, animals were harmed in the making of this site. Emotional-support animals remain eligible for future editorial supervision, assuming the meeting does not conflict with a meal or a nap.
IPv6, subnetting, cryptography, access-control models and acronyms in general remain available for study. Proceed at your own risk.
